Friday October 25th 2024 = PINK@WORK day: proudly wear something pink at work and show that you care!

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.
Every year in Europe 500,000 women receive the news that they have breast cancer.
And every year in Europe 125,000 people sadly pass away because of the disease.
1 out of 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her life.
Early detection of the disease greatly increases the chances of successful treatment. There are two major components of early detection of cancer: education to promote early diagnosis and screening.

Recognizing possible warning signs of breast cancer and taking prompt action leads to early diagnosis. Increased awareness of this delicate issue among the general public, can have a great impact on the disease.

We need your support to continue our breast cancer campaigns all over Europe.
Your actions have the power to show every woman that her life matters.
You can help by sharing your support, by showing that you care.

Friday October 25th is the day to show every woman that her life matters
